"Shocking" Video

The above video is a "viral" video created by Leicester NHS Trust to shock teenagers by showing the consequences of unprotected sex. It was initially banned by YouTube, but was later reinstated. What do you think? Is it an effective campaign?  If you're in your teens, how do you feel about this?  Has it changed your views on using contraceptive?  I want to hear your thoughts on this. Hi there!  I am a third year student at the University of Greenwich studying for a degree in Education.  For my degree I have to complete a research project.

At the start of 2009 it was reported that the teenage pregnancy rates had risen again in the United Kingdom.   As a result, the government will be implementing a sex education policy for children from the age of five.  Sex education will become compulsory for pupils from the age of 15.  The government believe that this will help lower teenage pregnancy rates.

I am investigating whether it is a lack of knowledge of sex and reproduction that contributes to the raised rates or whether it is due to certain attitudes towards sex.

I am conducting a survey which will hopefully shed some light on this matter.
